Kartioso privacy policy

Kartioso LLC (“Kartioso,” “we,” “us”) makes web, phone and tablet apps for personal use, including Kipe, Kist and Kided. This page explains what we keep when you visit kartioso.com or get in touch with us, why we keep it, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted. Kartioso has no ads, no analytics or tracking, and never sells your information.

Each app also has its own privacy policy that covers exactly what that app keeps. When you use an app, its policy applies alongside this one, and if the two differ, the app’s policy wins for that app.

What Kartioso keeps

• Email you send us. If you write to [email protected], [email protected] or another Kartioso address, we keep your message, your email address, your name if you include it, and our reply, so we can help you and follow up. We keep it until it’s no longer needed or until you ask us to delete it.
• Feedback from the apps. Feedback you send from inside an app reaches us the same way and is kept the same way. See that app’s policy for details.
• Visiting kartioso.com. The website doesn’t ask you to sign in, doesn’t use cookies for tracking, and doesn’t run analytics. Like any website, the service that hosts it briefly receives basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.
• What we don’t collect. We don’t buy information about you, we don’t build advertising profiles, and we don’t combine information across apps to learn about you.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the company. They handle information only to provide their service to us.

• Google Workspace hosts our email.
• Cloudflare manages our domains and helps deliver and protect our websites.
• App platforms. If you download an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handles your download and any purchase under their own privacy policies. Each app’s policy lists any other services that app uses.

We don’t sell or rent your information. We share it with others only when the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our legal rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the company, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Deleting your data

To have us delete your emails or feedback, write to [email protected] and tell us which address you wrote from. To delete an app account and everything saved in it, follow the steps in that app’s privacy policy. You can also ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct it, at the same address.

Security

We use providers with strong security, keep access to our accounts protected with two-step verification, and keep only what we need. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Kartioso’s website and apps are not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new date.
